Creator responsibility
Creators are responsible for keeping their project profile accurate, lawful and up to date, and for holding the rights or permissions needed for all text, images, audio, video and links they provide.
Campaign plans
Every campaign is either Standard (5% platform commission) or AI-Enhanced (7% platform commission). AI-Enhanced campaigns include Featured Campaign status, AI Writing Assistance, AI application assistance, AI campaign optimisation, AI promotion tools, and future AI features introduced by FundMyMusic. The additional 2% commission on AI-Enhanced campaigns exists to help cover the ongoing cost of providing these services. A creator chooses a plan when starting a campaign and may upgrade from Standard to AI-Enhanced at any time; an AI-Enhanced campaign cannot be changed back to Standard.
Editing and moderation
Creators may update their project through their private management link. Changes normally appear immediately. FundMyMusic may hide, correct or remove material, suspend a project, or contact the creator where there is a serious legal, safety, accuracy, rights or platform-integrity concern.
Publishing and promotion
By submitting project material, the creator permits FundMyMusic to display and promote that material in connection with the project. Separate approval will be requested where FundMyMusic generates new editorial or social-media material for publication.
These operational terms should be read together with any privacy, payment and platform terms published by FundMyMusic.
Campaign funding periods and renewals
FundMyMusic campaigns operate in defined funding periods rather than remaining open indefinitely. This helps donors see that a project is being actively managed and that its information remains current.
Creators receive reminders before the current funding period ends. During the final seven days, or after a funding period has closed, the creator may renew the campaign for 30, 60 or 90 days by providing a progress update for supporters.
When the stated closing date passes, the campaign is marked Closed and new contributions are disabled until the creator completes a renewal. Renewal changes the end date, records the renewal date and publishes the creator’s progress update. It does not alter contributions already made.
Creators are responsible for keeping all project information and progress updates accurate, lawful and current. FundMyMusic may pause, close or remove a campaign where there is a serious concern or a breach of these Terms.
